Hi Linda, After buying my Green Cheek from you and having such a good time with him, I brought my Black Headed Caique home this weekend and I am just loving him. Hi Lynn, Everything is going really well with Kiwi, my caique! He is about 7 months old now, and can already say his name and wistle! He is really happy and is turning into quite a beautiful bird. I just took him to an avian certified vet in Modesto Monday, and the vet says that all his tests and blood work came back perfect and that he is the perfect weight. I also found out that this species can live up to 40 years and that he won't hit adolesnce until he is at the earliest 5, but probably around 7 years old. So, that is what is happening with Kiwi. Thank you so much for a beautiful, healthy bird!
